Cellist Bryan Hayslett is a distinguished solo, chamber, and orchestral player. Dr. Hayslett is currently Assistant Professor of Cello at the New World School of the Arts in Miami and serves as the cellist of contemporary performance group Juxtatonal and section cellist of the Palm Beach Opera.

Dr. Hayslett made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2009 as first prize winner of the Alexander & Buono International String Competition. He has performed with symphony and chamber orchestras throughout the U.S.

The concert is underwritten by The Michaelsen Fund, established to honor Deacon Dorothy Michaelsen.
The Fund supports Youth, Outreach, Music and Arts programs at St. Luke's Church.
