Children's Ministry Communication Liaison

Jill Nowell grew up in the Episcopal Church and recently joined St. Luke’s after attending Wilshire Baptist Church for 13 years with her husband, Mike, who grew up in a Baptist pastor’s home. She is raising three sons, Zachary (8), Harrison (5), and Aaron (2).

Before becoming a stay-at-home Mom, Jill worked in corporate education for many years, including time at Sylvan Learning Centers and in management/new hire training at Citibank and Texas Instruments.

In a church setting, Jill has directed and taught adult Sunday School and children’s classes, from ages 18 months-3 years, and has participated in VBS in different capacities. Additionally, she has served on search committees for music and children’s ministers and missions/personnel committees. After serving for six months as the Interim Director of Children's Ministries, Jill now serves temporarily in a volunteer role coordinating all those who voluntarily serve the Children's Ministry.
