Dir. of Music Ministries & Parish Administration

Duane serves St. Luke’s in two main roles; Director of Music Ministries and as Director of Parish Administration. He has served churches as Organist or Director of Music since he was in Jr. High school. Most recently he served the National Office of Choristers Guild as Office Administrator and Conference Coordinator. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Church Music from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri and a Master of Music in Church Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. Duane is a member of good standing with the American Guild of Organists, the American Choral Directors Association, Choristers Guild, YouthCUE and the American Guild of English Handbell Ringing. He has served on the local Board of Directors of the Dallas Chapter of Choristers Guild and the Greater Dallas Handbell Association and currently serves on the National Board of Directors for YouthCUE, an organization for Youth Choir Directors.

Originally from Harrisonville, Missouri, Duane now lives in Dallas with his wife Tricia and two Cocker Spaniels, Oscar and Chloe.
