Juan Chavez began working for St. Luke’s in 1998 as a contractor with a facilities management company, but was soon invited to join the St. Luke’s staff permanently.  Juan became an employee of St. Luke’s in 1999. As facilities manager, Juan is responsible for overseeing all areas of maintenance for the church and saving the church from unnecessary expense wherever possible.  Juan, his wife Lourdes, and two of their three children live on property at St. Luke’s. They also have a daughter who is married and lives in the Dallas area.
