ConfirmationStudents in sixth attend Sunday morning classes during the Christian Education hour that are part of a one-year curriculum cycle. Students are intended to be confirmed in the fall of their seventh grade year. It is strongly recommended that seventh grade students attend New Beginnings at least once. Common GroundsAll 9th-12th grade girls are welcome to join us for a weekly dive into the Word. As a group of young women we work in discipliship, accountability, trust and learning. Spending time for fun, we share our lives with one another as hit topics like relationships, trust, faith, boys, future, grief, heaven, and many others. The Dorothy Michaelsen Scholarship FundThe first woman in the Diocese of Dallas ordained to the clergy, Deacon Dorothy S. Michaelsen served St. Luke’s in the 1980s and 1990s as Director of Christian Education. The Dorothy Michaelsen Scholarship Fund honors Deacon Dorothy’s life and work by recognizing the achievements of our youth and their accomplishments as they leave our midst and move into college life. |
