Pardon Our Dust

Have you noticed the extra dumpsters in the parking lots or the trucks and trailers parked around the church in recent weeks? Maybe you have just walked in for the first time this week, or month, or year, and something just felt different? Well, that's because it is different!

Under the supervision of the Vestry and the Building and Grounds Committee, St. Luke's has undertaken some major projects in recent weeks to make sure that our church attractive and inviting to passersby, visitors, and guests. As God is working some major changes in the spiritual lives of our parish and it's members, so are we working some major updates and much needed repairs around the physical building of our church home.

What to Expect in Coming Weeks

It is our intention and commitment that these projects will not disrupt or hinder our promise to be a center of worship and prayer on Sundays and during the week. Work crews will be in and out during the next two months, but all work should be stopped with ample time to make the worship spaces usable.

What are the Projects?

+ A new roof on the Main Sanctuary.

+ Reglazing of all stained glass windows.

+ New slate floor in the Main Sanctuary.

+ New sound system in the Main Sanctuary.

+ Organ maintenance.

+ New counter tops in the kitchen.

+ Repair Chapel sidewalk to slope rather than step up to entrance.
