Alpha is a ten-week course about the Christian faith, which includes dinner and a

talk. Some of the topics include: Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die? Why and how

should I read the Bible? Why and how do I pray? Who is the Holy Spirit? How can

I resist evil? Does God heal today? What about the Church? After each talk there

is small-group time for everyone to discuss any questions or issues they have. This

gives you the opportunity to get to know others and learn together.

For those adults wishing to be Confirmed, St. Luke’s is offering the Alpha “Plus”

course. In addition to attending the Alpha course, the “Plus” course includes a

few extra sessions on the Holy Sacraments, led by our clergy. For RSVP and more
