Parish Life Ministries
Healing Ministry Teams
Prayer teams pray for physical and spiritual healing on behalf of parishioners and their loved ones during the 10 a.m. Sunday service. Prayer requests can be made by calling the church office, via the St. Luke’s website, or in person. Contact Drs. Carol and Warren Greene for more information.
Flower Arrangers & Flower Deliverers
This group divides our altar flowers into smaller arrangements and delivers them to the ill and shut-in. Contact Winnie Doyle for more information.
Daughters of the King
The Daughters of the King is a spiritual order for women in the Episcopal Church, committed to the extension of Christ’s Kingdom through prayer and service. Daughters of the King has more than 16,000 members worldwide. Contact Deacon Rosemary Trei for information on joining.
Brotherhood of St. Andrew
The Brotherhood of St. Andrew is an international ministry within the Anglican Communion whose sole object is the spread of Christ’s Kingdom among men. The St. Luke’s Brotherhood meets twice a month. Contact Fr. Donald Spafford for more information.
This program is designed to “keep in touch.” A Shepherd that has been assigned to you or your family will be able to help with communicating pastoral or any other needs you may have.
The Dorothy Michaelsen Fund
The first woman in the Diocese of Dallas ordained to the clergy, Deacon Dorothy S. Michaelsen, served St. Luke’s in the 1980s and 1990s as Director of Christian Education. The Dorothy Michaelsen Fund honors Deacon Dorothy’s life and work by recognizing the achievements of our youth and their accomplishments as they leave our midst and move into college life.
